PIAZZA ROMA
The heart of the festival
The expansive Piazza Roma provides the backdrop for the impressive Military Academy, the former Palazzo Ducale. During the days of the duchy, major political decisions were made here, and official celebrations and performances were held to properly welcome kings and popes. Today, the piazza forms the heart of the Jazz Open, hosting performances by world-class stars.
